We market & distribute quality, innovative culinary products from world leading manufacturers and brands on an exclusive basis to the UK & Ireland’s catering professionals, independent cook shops and multiple retailers.
1. An innovation based company
JWP Limited started life over 20 years ago as a family business focussed on innovations in the housewares industry.
One such innovation was OXO Good Grips, which we introduced into the UK and became a huge success. Over a period of 13 years we grew this range and became the product’s largest distributor outside of the USA.
Constantly striving to source new products and ideas, we also introduced the Lock & Lock food storage range in 2001, rapidly establishing it as the brand leader in the UK. It very quickly became our signature brand.
2. Joining forces with Meyer Group Ltd.
The intervening years saw periods of continued growth, which led to the purchase of JWP in December 2011 by Meyer Group, the 2nd largest cookware company in the world.
Since then, we have shared the use of Meyer’s state-of-the-art 150,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in Bromborough, Merseyside.

3. Growth and expansion
2014 saw somewhat of a departure for JWP when we became the exclusive distributor for 3DLightFX, a Canadian based company that produced licensed 3D character lighting featuring brands including Marvel and Star Wars.
As well as scouring the globe in search for new products, we also launched a number of our own ranges, including good2go too, an innovative collapsible silicone cookware range that is arguably the most versatile food storage container on the market. We also launched our own microwave only range, good2heat.
These products have helped us consolidate our position as a major player in the housewares industry.
4. Looking to the future
The housewares industry can be a challenging one, however we continue to move forwards, with plans to launch brand new ranges, as well as further develop our existing brands. Examples of this include ‘Clearly Lock & Lock’, a range of virtually indestructible stain-resistant food storage containers, and the Betty Crocker Microwave range that can produce delicious cakes and brownies in minutes.
As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of plastic food storage we are aware of the responsibility we have, not only to our customers, but to our planet. We’re also aware just how much of an environmental issue plastic waste has become, in particular the proliferation of single use plastics. With that in mind, in October 2018 JWP launch the ‘ECO’ range from Lock & Lock, a range of food storage containers salvaged from 100% food grade waste plastic, with 100% recycled packaging.
Looking to the future one thing is certain, the vast range of products that the company brings to the market will all have the same thing in common, each is befitting of the JWP motto, ‘Quality, Innovation, Design’.
